The Children's Castle After School Program is more then your ordinary after school
program. The after school hours can be a time for your child to learn things other than
reading, writing and math. Children's Castle After School Program will take into account
children’s different interests and moods and will provide a wide range of activities for
children to sample. At Children's Castle, your child will learn how to get along with other
children and how to use free time happily, creatively, productively and safely. We strive for
the best way for your child to spend their after school hours. We offer a state licensed
program with trained staff that meet all state requirements.
Children's Castle After School Program offers, art, dramatics, special programs, field trips
and homework help. Private tutoring can be made available for an additional fee.
Children's Castle After School Program will help your child continue to grow socially,
emotionally and physically. Our program provides a rich learning environment. This helps
them do better in school and they are less likely to get in trouble. Children's Castle program
works to build a link to the community and encourages service, enriching the entire
community. You will be more productive and less anxious at work knowing your children
are safe after school.
We support families by offering a safe, happy learning environment for the children. We
include them in the planning of the after school program.
Our after school program is different from our early childhood program. It allows school age
children greater independence to choose what interests them and to help in planning the
activities they will enjoy, while supporting what is being covered in the classrooms. We
believe this can help in the improvement of standardized test scores for the child. We
coordinate with school administration and teachers to support the areas they feel need to
be addressed in a fun, hands-on, out of school environment. Some examples of what we
offer include field trips in the Summer, guest speakers for areas of interest or subject areas
being taught in the school, related games, crafts, and dramatics.
We have a highly trained staff who are required to attend continuing professional training in
the field of education, child development, and health and safety.
